Dorchester Senior Citizens Center is a multi-service facility funded under NYC Dept. for the Aging since 1973, serving a diverse population of seniors from all parts of Brooklyn. Members participate in cultural, educational and recreational programs as well as a daily hot lunch program. The Dorchester Singing Swingers (comprised of blind, visually impaired and sighted members) and a second choral group both perform at other senior centers, schools, nursing homes and community organizations.
