Bridget Parris’ most notable recent exhibitions include one-artist exhibitions at Art Cube in Brooklyn, NY in the Fall of 2013, and at Chair and the Maiden Gallery in New York, NY in December 2010. Her work was also featured in a group artist exhibition at the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) in New York, NY from May-December of 2009, where she completed a residency as an Open Studios Artist in the Summer of 2009. Parris has completed two public art projects to date, commissioned by the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh and the Washington D.C. Commission on the Arts. She has taught courses at Parson’s the New School for Design, the Copper-Hewitt National Design Museum, the Guggenheim Museum, and the Museum of Arts and Design. She works out of her studio in Brooklyn.
