Bob is a Brooklyn-based composer and performer who has worked in a wide range of styles and situations. He has been a member of bands including Washboard Jungle, Le Nozze di Carlo, Mildred Pierce/Las Puertas, the Meltdown Orchestra, the Ban Radio "Orchestra", and the Famous Accordion Orchestra (aka Accordion Angels); he has directed ensembles in site-specific pieces in subway stations, gardens and cemeteries; and he has collaborated with numerous choreographers, and scored several films, both long and short. He performs most frequently on accordion, often enough on piano, and occasionally on guitar or other instruments. He is at home in a wide range of styles, from folk to modern.

Bob studied composition and electronic music at Sarah Lawrence College, composition at NYU, and Music Education at Brooklyn College. He teaches elementary school music and gives private lessons as well.
