Shari Diamond is an artist whose work incorporates photography and digital technology and explores difference as it relates to our social, sexual and political constructs. Narrative is a constant thread throughout their work, speaking to a larger political condition rooted in personal experience of difference. They are a recipient of a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Photography, Brooklyn Arts Council Community Arts Grant and was awarded residencies at Blue Mountain Center, Saltonstall Arts Colony, and the Millay Colony for the Arts. Their work has been shown in numerous venues. They teach at Parsons School of Design and the International Center of Photography in New York City and split their time between Brooklyn and Newburgh, New York.
