I subject everyday objects and events, particularly those of my immediate surroundings, to analytical methods and techniques from non-art disciplines, including microscopy and optics, material analysis and dissection, and anthropology, data mining and surveillance. My use of these techniques exacerbates and magnifies the conflicts that exist between these everyday entities and the systems of control and regulation that they, and we, are entangled in.
