A production and costume designer, Victoria (Vita) Tzykun works extensively in film and theater. Born in Odessa (former USSR), and raised in Tel-Aviv (Israel), she completed her BFA in theater design at Tel-Aviv University, and then moved to New York City, where she earned an MFA in design for stage and film at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
Among her theater highlights are ? a multimedia production of Dido and Aeneas (The DIDO project), directed by Pat Diamond at the Samsung Experience at Time Warner Center; Lily, Her Life His Music directed by James Marvel at Dicapo Opera (NYC); Phallacy, directed by Elena Araoz at Cherry Lane Theater (NYC); Death and the Maiden, directed by Ianthe Demos at Teatro Imeras (Athens, Greece); Faust, directed by Elena Araoz in collaboration with Aurea Ensemble at Beneficent Church Sanctuary (Providence, RI); All is Well that Ends Well, directed by Jay Skelton at the New York Classical Theater; Full Circle, directed by Emma Griffin at Abe Burrows Theater (NYC); and Golden Boy directed by Victor Pappas at the 5th Floor Theater (NYC).
Her digital artwork for projections include: Mazeppa, directed by Uri Alexandrov at the Metropolitan Opera; Impressionism, directed by Jack O-Brien at the Schoenfeld Theater (starring Jeremy Irons and Joan Allen) ; Distracted (starring Rita Willson), directed by Leonard Foglia at the Mark Taper Forum (LA); Thurgood (starring Laurence Fishburne), directed by Leonard Foglia at the Schubert Theater (Broadway); and Frequency Hopping directed by Elise Singer at the Three Legged Dog Art and Technology center (featuring a robotic orchestra and three dimensional projections).
Her recent film production design credits include - No Love in the City (feature film) directed by Marius Balchunas, produced by LPLS Film productions; The Casualty (feature film) directed by Alexander Galin, produced by Persona Films; Qualcomm, Bristol ?Myers Squibb, Axe Body Spray and Volvo commercials, as well as numerous short films.
She is currently in the process of designing sets and costumes with SUNNIVITA International Design Collective for Med Kniven pa Strupen, at OiK opera (Kristiansund, Norway).

Her work has been featured in exhibitions at the Entertainment Industry Expo in NYC, Habima National Theater in Tel-Aviv, the World Stage Design Exhibition in Toronto, and in Entertainment Design magazine.
