Primarily a “Boston” school realist painter through the line of Hilary H. Holmes, R.H. Ives Gammell, Wm. MacGregor Paxton, Jean Leon Gerome, Paul Delaroche, Antoine-Jean (Baron) Gros, and Jacques-Louis David. Mentor: the late Robert Douglas Hunter.

Dozens of national and international juried exhibitions at art centers, art clubs and museums across the USA, including but not limited to Coos Museum, Mississippi Museum of Art, Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum, Masur Museum of Art, the National Arts Club and Salmagundi Club of New York.
