A native of Dallas, PA, Christa spent much of her childhood singing, playing the piano, and dancing around the kitchen.
In 2004, she trained at the PA Governor's School for the Arts. Recently, she graduated from Muhlenberg College where she was awarded the Dorothy and Dexter Baker Foundation Award in Theatre from 2005-2009. She received a KCACTF Irene Ryan Nomination for Best Actor several times for her performances in Mainstage productions. In 2007, she placed as a Finalist in the competition with her partner and best friend, Zachary Chiero.
Christa is also fascinated by the field of Performance Studies. She spent time in Argentina researching and compiling a 50 page study on the Mapuche people and their use of theatre as a means for social resurgence and identity reclamation.
Currently living in New York City, Christa keeps very busy auditioning, performing, and working as a teaching artist in Brooklyn.
