I am a Brooklyn based conceptual artist and documentarian who works in photography, video installation, and sound. My work has been exhibited at various art spaces in NYC including The Invisible Dog, Exit Art, NurtureArt, MoCADA, and The Brooklyn Historical Society.
My work explores the unstable interaction between work and our identity as well as the ominous influence of Big Business on our daily lives.
I was born in 1976 in Brooklyn, NY where I currently reside. I received my BA from Barnard College at Columbia University and my MFA from Hunter College of the City University of New York. You can view my work at www.jesslevey.com.
