Born in Monaco, Lives & works in New York since 1985

I am born and raised in the South of France. I started photography at the age of 16 as a self-taught artist. I learned to print in the silver gelatin process. In those days my idols were Helmut Newton & Guy Bourdin. In 1984, I enrolled at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston where I majored in photography, polaroid 20x24 and film & video. I never could finish my studies for financial reasons. Life took over and after a period of not doing art I started again in the late 90's to create again. Since then, I am fully dedicated to my Art work which evolves mostly around projects & themes I create. I consider myself a visual artist who works with the medium of photography. I mostly work with film as I am a 'purist' in my technical approach, but it is conceptual ideas I re-create.
My process is slow. It takes me time to think a new project and realize it. But its my way of saying: LOOK, LISTEN TO THE IMAGES...
