Brooklyn, oh Brooklyn.
I'm young, 24, but in Williamsburg, Brooklyn I seem like an ole' timer. I've lived here for 18 years, with a 4 year leave to University of Hartford, which I just graduated with a B.F.A in Photography.
My concentration lies in street portraiture, whether posed or unprecedented. Strangers are my models. Who else can model a person better than themselves? People are perfect models of themselves, a certain honesty that always exists, no matter if it's slightly concealed. Photographing everyday people is glorifying them, the gesture of intrigue of one to another suggests a unique quality that no one else has. A photograph is an acknowledgment of interest.
I photograph different groups of people in different manners depending on the series, always using a medium format camera.
