Megan Minturn loves sharing her passion for movement. She has studied dance in Omaha, Colorado, Senegal, New York, and most recently Cuba. Megan is a dancer, choreographer and teacher. Her works in and is influenced by dances from West Africa, Ballet, Contemporary, and yoga traditions.

Megan worked with Charles Ahovissi's African Culture Connection performing and teaching West African dance, dancing and teaching with the Diavolo Project: Nebraska, and teaching ballroom to fifth graders through the Dancing Classrooms program. She also participated in a Kennedy Center funded Teaching Artist Initiative teaching contemporary dance. She has worked with the Little Red Schoolhouse Summer Program and currently teaches at The School at Peridance. Most recently she joined Notes in Motion and Dance Theatre of Harlem as a Teaching Artist. Currently, she is pursuing a Masters in Dance Education at New York University. She has presented her choreography at the Amalgamate Artist Series and Frederick Loewe Theatre.
