Karen Harvey is a dance artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She has been choreographing dances and site-specific experiments for fourteen years and her work often engages artistic collaborations across disciplines. Karen‘s choreography has been shown throughout NYC and internationally in Tokyo, Kyoto and Vienna. As a performer, she currently dances with Da-On Dance Company and is a founding member of Antititled Dialogues - an improvisation performance collective. Karen has also performed in the works of Neta Pulvermacher, Rebecca Lazier, Christopher Williams, Renée Archibald, Rick Moody, Pichet Klunchun, Katie Swords, Brenda Daniels and We Are Your Friends (experimental A cappella group) among others. She holds a BFA in Contemporary dance from NCSA (2004) where she was awarded the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence.
