Stephanie Skaff received her MFA in Fiction Writing from Hunter College in 2015. Her public art and performance work have received support from Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Puffin Foundation Ltd, XO Projects Inc and Princess Grace Foundation-USA. For several years, she was the director of Beyond Bullets, a national anti-gun violence campaign for teenagers through DCTV, with support from The Ford Foundation and The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. She writes and plays music and has been a member of the bands Frances and Racket Club. Her fiction has appeared in Lovers & Other Strangers. Originally from Ohio, she lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband, Mark Elijah Rosenberg, a filmmaker and Founder/Artistic Director of Rooftop Films, and their shelter pup.
