MOST RECENTLY, Lisa has been writing an original full-length musical that explores the effects of war on soldiers and their families. As part of her research for this project, she was fortunate to be awarded a scholarship to participate in a workshop for veterans and their relatives, which took place at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY.
As a songwriter, Lisa has produced a cd of her original compositions. A single from that cd, Bad for Me, succeeded in reaching the number 2 position on the “American Idol Underground” listener-rated radio station after just one week of play.
She has worked as choreographer for The Beat Goes On, a NYC rock and pop tribute series. As a singer, she has performed on the same bill as such recording artists as Marshall Crenshaw and Phoebe Snow.
As an actor, Lisa has created several voices for the Sci-Fi Channel’s Seeing Ear Theater, in addition to appearing in the films of award-winning filmmakers Bruce Bennett and Cherien Dabis (Cannes Fipresci Prize).
She lives in Brooklyn.
