Karina Mangu-Ward is a Brooklyn based filmmaker and media producer.
She uses non-fiction film, user-generated content, and social networking to spread big ideas. Karina's BAC funded project, FLUSH, examines how our "out of sight, out of mind" attitude toward shit is harming our health and environment. She also directs content and strategy for ArtsFwd.org, a platform for arts and culture leaders featuring short documentaries, podcasts, and a blog about innovative new approaches to the persistent challenges facing the arts sector. She previously produced MADE HERE, an online documentary project featuring 30 short films about the life/work balance of New York City artists.
