Rachel Gordon Loube is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, based in Brooklyn, NY. She studied sociology at Brandeis University and earned her MFA in social documentary film from the School of Visual Arts in 2011. Her thesis film, “Every Tuesday: A Portrait of The New Yorker Cartoonists,” won a Student Academy Award in 2013, and made its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2012. In addition to Every Tuesday, she produced, directed, and edited the documentary short, This Is Tap, featuring the dancer Michelle Dorrance. Rachel knew she wanted to be a filmmaker at age five, when she made a short, environmental, animated film with her kindergarten class.
