Yasmin Mistry is an Emmy-nominated designer and animator based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work has been displayed in exhibitions, film festivals, and publications worldwide including recent showings at the White House, United Nations and the Louvre.
She has created graphics for films featured at numerous festivals, including Tribeca, Cannes, Toronto, Warsaw and SXSW. In addition, her first film, Visions Revealed, an animated short about performing arts in the deaf community, premiered at Siggraph Metro-CAF and went on to screen at festivals worldwide. Her current project, an animated documentary about foster care, was selected as a finalist for the RIS Microgrant in 2011 and received a Puffin grant in 2013.
