Jeanna Phillips is a performer, composer, and theatre maker. As a composer, her music has been performed at the workshop at Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Morgan Library, NYU’s Experimental Theatre Wing, Galapagos Art Space, and Theatre for a New City. She has collaborated musically with such innovators as Karen O and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Cynthia Hopkins, Dave Malloy, and Elizabeth Swados. As an actor, she has performed in New York City at Madison Square Garden, Joe’s Pub, La MaMa ETC, St. Ann’s Warehouse, and the Lucille Lortel, internationally at the Sydney Opera House, and regionally at Williamstown Theatre Festival and Berkeley Repertory Theatre, with directors such as Adam Rapp, Rachel Chavkin, and Oliver Butler, among others. Her band, Scouts, was last seen in performance at the McKittrick Hotel, and are in the process of recording their debut EP.
