Born in Switzerland and trained as a textile designer, Regi Mueller began to concentrate on visual arts in the early eighties and was a guest attendant at the School of Arts and Crafts in Zurich. Between 87 and 89 she studied fine art at the California State University in Chico.
She focuses on silk screen prints and sculptures and shows her work regularly in one person exhibitions in the USA and Switzerland. Installations of her work were displayed in several museum exhibitions.
In 2006 she was invited to create an installation in a client room for a financial institution as a part of their collection. She frequently designs works for art in public and corporate places.
She received several grants and awards, recently a prestigious one from the Aargauer Kuratorium in Switzerland for the installation Spine IV.
