Midori is a Brooklyn-based artist who has shown her photography, painting, and mixed media pieces at numerous places mainly in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens boroughs of New York City such as ABC No Rio, Amos Eno Gallery, A.I.R. Gallery, International Fine Arts Consortium Headquarters, Space Womb Gallery, Gallery Bar, Amy Li Projects, and the National Museum of Dance in Saratoga Springs, NY, where her piece exhibited entered their permanent collection.
She was awarded Second Place Winner for "Sights of NOHO Photo Contest" hosted by NOHO NY BID in June 2013, and included in Best 20 for "Photo of the Week" contest hosted by Photo Manhattan in February 2013.
Midori had a two-person show with fabric artist Ms. Natsuko Hattori from December 2013 to January 2014 at CHóGA restaurant in Greenwich Village, NYC, which was extended twice by popular demand. Midori is currently a member of Brooklyn Art Space located in Gowanus, Brooklyn, and her works and updates can be found at midoak21.com.
