Kimberly Pau's plays have been produced and developed off-Broadway at HERE, The Brick, Theater for the New City, 45 Bleecker, The Gene Frankel Theatre, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Blue Heron Arts Center, The Stella Adler Conservatory for Acting, Tisch School of the Arts: Department of Dramatic Writing and Experimental Theatre Wing and The Green Building. Recently, she directed and wrote the libretto for part one of Trust in the You of Now, a chamber opera, which was presented by Theater for the New City in May 2014 and Spectrum NYC in August 2014. Kimberly’s plays have been published on Indie Theater Now, by Smith and Kraus in the Best 10 Minute Plays, Men’s Monologues and Women’s Monologues of 2013, Applause Theatre & Cinema Books’ Best Contemporary Men’s Monologues 18-35 and in the literature textbook: Reading, Reacting, Writing - 9th edition by Kirszner-Mandell. She studied Dramatic Writing and Drama at Tisch School for the Arts at NYU and has developed work at the International Experimental Theater Workshops in Amsterdam, the International Film & Television Workshops in Rockport, ME and the Flea Pataphysics Workshops and the Play Development Collective in NYC. She was named one of the Top Ten Off-Off Broadway Theatre Professionals of 2011 by; DEACTIVATED was a finalist for the 2014 Leah Ryan Fund for Emerging Women Writers and a semi-finalist for the 2014 Eugene O’Neill Playwright’s Conference, BABY PLAYS THE BANJO, received the Outstanding Playwriting Award, Planet Connections Theatre Festivity 2012, BOMB SHELTER received 8 Award Nominations, Planet Connections Theatre Festivity 2011 and was a finalist for the TrapDoor Ensemble Playwright Competition; AN ESTONIAN PLAY, was a finalist for the SPF Festival; SHITHEAD was a semi-finalist for Eugene O’Neill Playwright’s Conference. Kimberly is a founding member of Ouroboros Co.
