Peter G. Andersen is a theatre artist originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is a graduate of Emerson College where he obtained his BFA in Acting. At college he was the President of the Emerson Shakespeare Society for three years, where he both performed and directed. At Emerson, he was the recipient of the Performing Arts Chair award, and the Emerson College Performing Arts Grant. Since graduation, he has worked at Steppenwolf Theatre Company as the Steppenwolf for Young Adults Apprentice and Multicultural Fellow. He also received a full scholarship to train in the Shakespeare and Company 4 month conservatory. Recently, he completed an assistantship at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival where he assisted James Bundy (Dean of Yale School of Drama and Artistic Director of Yale Repertory Theatre) on Richard III. As an actor, Peter has worked on the Pulitzer Prize Winning play “The Flick” for Company One in Boston, and will be seen in the upcoming Actor’s Shakespeare Project production of Henry VI Pt2, directed by Tina Packer.
