Leah holds a BA in Psychology from Salem State University (1994) and an MFA from the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at New York University’s Tisch School Of The Arts (2010). Leah lives in Brooklyn where she works as a Playwright, Bookwriter, Lyricist and Teaching Artist. Her work has premiered in New York with Write Act Eastside (Providence: A Musical Comedy), MuSE (Bronx Zoo), Ugly Rhino Productions (Sunday Roaster Chicken), Triskelion Arts Split Bill Series (Touching Loss), and Three Act Theatre (Entangled). As a Teaching Artist Leah works with The Brooklyn Youth Chorus Academy, Arts Connection, The Metropolitan Opera Guild, and Arts Interface. Leah is a proud member of ASCAP, the Dramatists Guild Of America, The Directory of Contemporary Musical Theatre Writers, and Three Act Theatre Company.
