Kiley Ames is a Brookyn-based interdisciplinary artist working with painting, sculpture, printmaking and photography. Her work explores the relationship between emotional intimacy and instability. She earned a BA in History from UCLA, a BFA in Illustration from Art Center College of Design, and MFA from the New York Academy of Art. She has been the recipient of residencies in Beijing and Shanghaii, China and Leipzig, Germany and the Vermont Studio Center. Her work has been exhibited both national and internationally. She is the recipient of multiple grants including the Barbara Deming Memorial Grant and Leslie T. and Frances U. Posey Foundation. Her collectors include Peter Lewis and Janet Rosel, Eileen Guggenheim and Russell Wilkinson, Ludwig Kuttner, Richard Blumenthal, and Sybil Shainwald. She currently freelances with Annie Leibovitz Studio.
