Erin Fritts grew up in Huntington, Long Island. She has been passionate about visual art for as long as she can remember, and started showing art and teaching art classes as a teen. Erin earned her BFA in Illustration at Rhode Island School of Design in 2011, where she also focused on Art as a Source of Healing. After graduating she moved to NYC, exploring various jobs in the arts such as instructing preschool art, metal working, special fx make up on several web series, events and an album cover, teaching freelance painting classes, interning with talented artists, and showing her own work. Currently residing in Bushwick, she is the Visual Arts Facilitator for El Puente Bushwick and Williamsburg Leadership Centers, and a member of CADRE. Erin also teaches painting classes on weekends for Painting Lounge with locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan. She also created her own line of jewelry, called Meld&Heal.
