Danielle Bullock is a visual artist, writer and educator. Brooklyn-born and raised, she received her BFA in Photography at Parsons School of Design and her MFA in Writing at Brooklyn College. Over the last 15 years, she has been employed as a teaching artist at the Whitney and Guggenheim Museums, the Boys Club of NY, the Brooklyn Public Library, as well as in New York City public schools. She has just completed a year-long internship for teaching artists with the Community Word Project in Manhattan. She is a frequent reader at various local poetry open mics and is also a co-organizer of the Empty Bowls Bay Ridge project. In her creative work, she pulls together multiple art forms, encompassing and incorporating ceramics, drawing, painting, journaling, photography and writing.
