Richard Boulger, trumpet player, band leader, composer, and recording artist, was educated at the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford, CT, and Rutgers University, is a former protegé of both Donald Byrd and Freddie Hubbard, and has played and toured the world over. Boulger has three CD recordings to his credit and has also recorded live with the Allman Brothers Band (Live at the Beacon), and with many other artists including R&B's Joe, Jeremih, Little Louie Vega, and Randy Brecker. His music has been played on jazz radio stations in the U.S. and Europe, and Boulger's sounds include a blend of funk, jazz, groove, electronica, world sounds, and the blues.
