Rohan Bhargava began his formal dance training in New Delhi, India. He trained in ballet under Fernando Aguilera and Gabor Sziraky and served as a performer, instructor, and choreographer at The Danceworx Academy of Performing Arts. In 2012, Rohan relocated to New York City to pursue his B.F.A in Dance at Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. Since then he has performed works by Bill T. Jones, Deborah Jowitt, Patrick B. Corbin, Laura Peterson, Live Arts Collaborative, and Kay Cummings.
Rohan is a passionate choreographer; one of his works was selected for the Tisch Alumni Show 2015, he recently presented work at the WAXworks Season Opener at Triskelion Arts, and he has won an award for Best Choreography at the New York South Asian International Performing Arts Festival. Rohan has also hosted a week long ballet and contemporary intensive at The Wooden Stage, Mumbai and is currently starting his own dance company.
