Giorgio Guidi (b. 1982, Italy) lives and works in Brooklyn NY. He holds a BFA in Sculpture (2006, Accademia di Carrara, IT). From 2009 to 2016 his work has been widely shown across several countries, in public and private spaces.
During the years he earned a copious set of skills, by working on different kind of projects with other artists, designers, architects, and musicians. He's been an artist in residence at the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council in NY in 2012, he participated at the prestigious show “Musei in Mostra” held at Artissima 2012, the "No soul for sale” festival held at the Tate Modern (UK) in 2010, as part of the Viafarini archive. His work was showcased by No Longer Empty with a permanent installation, Bronx NY in 2016, at Soloway (NY) in 2012, and his first solo show was held at FaMa Gallery, Verona (IT) in 2013. In 2011, He was an artist in residence at VIR-Viafarini in residence in Milano (IT), a granted artist by the Spinola Banna Foundation in Torino (IT) and part of the show Lords of Dirt at the UGM in Maribor (SI).
