Rron Karahoda is an opera composer who was born in the Bronx and grew up in Downtown Brooklyn.

Before studying composition at Bard College with Composer, Critic, Biographer, & Scholar Kyle Gann along with teachers Joan Tower, John Esposito, George Tsontakis, and Erica Lindsay, Rron was a singer in the Metropolitan Opera's children's choir.

Currently he manages the Hugo Kauder Society, a non-profit dedicated to the performance and study of works by Hugo Kauder, a composer who escaped to the United States from Vienna after it was annexed in 1938.

Rron's music has premiered at the Whitney Museum of American Art as the score for Bieber Bathos Elegy, an experimental, operatic, theater piece directed by acclaimed poet Felix Bernstein. He has also provided the music for the webseries Under Inspektion and Between the Sidewalk and the Street. His voice has made an appearance on the Asymptote podcast and in an audiostory.
