Log-in to Favorite

Influenced in equal measure by 70's rock and 60's folk along with a steady diet of classical, Alt-rock, and Motown, Texas native Barton Stanley David has a voice as big as his home state.

A fifth generation Texan, Dallas bred BSD spent his formative years as a musician in the live music capitol of the world of Austin before landing in New York City in 2009 with only a suitcase.

BSD's debut EP "Blue For East Broadway" was recorded in Gowanus, Brooklyn in 2011 with help from some of the top names in Indie and Pop music, and was re-released to AAA radio in 2014.

A resident of Cobble Hill, Barton is a live staple of both Brooklyn and Manhattan music venues as well as a founding member of a popular Bushwick based arts collective.
