Natasha May Platt is a Bushwick-based mural artist and painter. She paints indoor and outdoor murals, inspired by beauty, spirituality, and the natural world. She has painted for the 100 Gates Project, Java Studios in Greenpoint, and various restaurants and private clients around the city, including Conbody gym and Springbone Kitchen.
Natasha spent three years in India immediately after college, training in design under the Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The rich traditions of Indian textiles, embellishment, and weaving has greatly shaped her aesthetic, as well as her personal relationship to meditation and yoga. She currently works full time as an embroidery designer and manager at Rilievi, one of the most respected embroidery ateliers for the global luxury fashion industry.
