Jess Worby is a Brooklyn-based visual artist and educator. His work has been exhibited at The Brooklyn Museum, Sculpture Center, The Brooklyn Historical Society, and more. As a professional illustrator and cartoonist, he has made work for clients like The New York Times, The Brooklyn Rail, and McSweeney’s. He teaches art for Studio in a School, LeAP, St. John’s University, Abrons Arts Center, Shoestring Studio, and other prestigious NYC organizations. His work has been recognized by Best American Comics, American Illustration, and Society of Illustrators and featured on sites like Buzzfeed, Wired, HuffPo, Kotaku, and Ars Technica. He founded the Brooklyn Draw Jam, a community drawing event that encourages collaboration and experimentation.
