William Eric Waters, aka Easy Waters, is an award-winning Poet, Playwright and Essayist. He is the author of three books of poetry, including his award-winning epic poem, "Black Shadows and Through the White Looking Glass: Remembrance of Things Past and Present," and a novel, "Streets of Rage," which he wrote under his pen name, Easy Waters. He is also a criminal justice activist, advocate and expert, on issues of parole and felony-murder. As such, he was the editor or co-editor of four criminal justice newsletters. He is a born and bred Brooklynite, now recognized as "the coolest place on the planet." He has a master's degree from New York Theological Seminary, and bachelors' degrees from the Unviersity of Albany and SUNY New Paltz.
