Crediting Requirements

Brooklyn Arts Council requires grantees to credit the organization in promotion of their projects, including but not limited to press releases, news features, or public-facing collateral.

 
 

Credit copy: BROOKLYN ARTS FUND

<Project title to be credited> is sponsored, in part, by the Greater New York Arts Development Fund of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, administered by Brooklyn Arts Council.

In addition, during the Grant Period, the Grantee will include the following in all programs, press releases, and other printed or electronic materials wherein the Grantee lists its contributors:

Credit Copy: LOCAL ARTS SUPPORT

<Project title to be credited> is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the New York State Legislature and administered by Brooklyn Arts Council.

In addition, during the Grant Period, the Grantee will include the following in all programs, press releases, and other printed or electronic materials wherein the Grantee lists its contributors:

COPY: CREATIVE EQUATIONS FUND

Each Creative Equations Fund has specific crediting language. Please reference your signed Grant Agreement for required text and include the appropriate BAC and funder logos.

Please include the appropriate logos in your marketing materials in their original colors or black and white. Files are provided in PNG format. Print and online materials should be sent to Didintle Ntsie (dntsie@brooklynartscouncil.org) for approval.

We encourage grantees to post award acknowledgments on social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to share with your community. Please be mindful of the approved formatting to announce awards, events and other items on social media and when citing the Brooklyn Arts Council.
