During this workshop for teaching artists, we will focus on crafting a teaching personality based on a teaching artist statement of purpose. Led by Brooklyn Arts Council teaching artists, this workshop will begin with an exercise in crafting a statement of purpose and guide participants to devising a teaching artist persona based on their statement. Educators will leave this workshop with strategies for bringing energy into the classroom and capturing student attention through the thoughtful and intentional performance of teaching.
