This evening features Brooklyn's innovative pianist Robert Glasper, who marries classic jazz with hip-hop and soul, and vocalist and songwriter Jose James, who moved in 1999 to Brooklyn, where he first made an indelible mark with his warm baritone. Glasper, vocalist Bilal and James are all alumni of Brooklyn's own Up Over Jazz Cafe. A bit of Queens in the mix with the well-loved rapper Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest. FREE!
