Octavia Project: Summer Showcase

Join us on Thursday, August 14 for the Octavia Project's Summer Showcase! 5:30pm | Open Gallery 6pm | Performances Begin RSVP encouraged The Octavia Project uses speculative fiction as a lens through which to envision new futures and greater possibilities for our world; blending creative writing, art, science, and technology, their programming increases confidence and skills in a myriad of subjects while fostering leadership and community. We summer programs which encourage imagination and community building. Their free summer camp for middle schoolers and summer institute for high schoolers bring together young women and trans and nonbinary youth to build new worlds. Whether you're a returning guest or joining for the first time, our Summer Showcase promises to leave you encouraged, inspired, and excited for the future. Join us to engage with student projects and hear student work performed by participants from across the Octavia Project’s multiple programs.
