Sound Sculpture Activation and Music Performance: Rain Taal by Seema Lisa Pandya

JOIN US THIS SUNDAY 6/17 at 1pm at the Narrows Botanical Gardens in Bay Ridge Brooklyn (near the 69th street entrance) for a sonic audience participatory event to activate Rain Taal sculptures by Seema Lisa Pandya. Rain Taal are public art sculptures designed to capture rain water and drip rhythmic taals onto resonant bowls bringing awareness to rain cycles. SPECIAL SOUND PERFORMANCE by Neel Murgai who will be using contact mics to live mix water drop sounds into a sonic experience. Come reconnect with nature, bring a blanket, and picnic at the gardens. Rain Taal is part of the Essential Shores/ Permeable Futures art show curated by Jennifer McGregor and Stand 4 Gallery in Bay Ridge Brooklyn.
