Calling all Brooklyn Filmmakers! Scene: Brooklyn invites you to join us for our first filmmakers meet up of the new year. Enjoy drink specials, music videos and short films by Brooklyn-based filmmakers, meet and mingle with other local film professionals, and submit your film to Scene: Brooklyn in person - for free (save $25)! Brooklyn Arts Council staff will be on hand with information about our screening programs and services for film and media artists.

Thursday, January 26 6 - 8pm Crown Inn, 724 Franklin Ave. Come and learn more about the screening series, meet the people behind the scenes, and submit your short or feature directly, and free of cost (save $25 off withoutabox submitting!) 8 - 9pm Screening and Discussion LaunchPad, 721 Franklin Ave. Join us at this screening of past Scene: Brooklyn selections, including "Silent Heart" by Rob Moore, "The Funeral" by Jonathan Emmerling, and "Brooklyn Boondoggle" by Meerkat Media Collective. Plus, see new works by Meerkat, and music videos from Brooklyn-based production companies Flaure Films and Beautiful Lady Productions. A discussion with some of the filmmakers will follow the screening. Both venues are between Park and Sterling Place 2/3/4/5 to Franklin Avenue/Shuttle to Park Place
