BAC offers informational how-to-apply seminars, one-on-one feedback on projects, application draft reviews and panel feedback to all BAC Grants applicants, creating a supportive professional development opportunity out of the application process.

  • An overview of our guidelines and various grant opportunities offered by BAC
  • A detailed explanation of the application process and our updated online application
  • Tips on writing a successful grant application
  • A question and answer session
  • A chance to meet BAC staff and other applicants

Applicants who have not received BAC grant funding in the last two years are required to attend.  As our online application has changed, attendance is strongly encouraged for all applicants.

BAC Community Arts Grants are made possible through the generous support of: the Decentralization Program of the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, the Greater New York Arts Development Fund of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) in partnership with the New York City Council, JPMorgan Chase Foundation, and Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz.
